An Ant’s Point of View

Anastasia Bushuyev, 16

Painting | Oil on Canvas | A x B

“This piece is composed of clay objects, pieces of cloth, and bottles
arranged together, and is made with oil paint on canvas. The piece
mainly served as a way for the artist to study values, as well as to
practice painting without a graphite sketch underneath. The paint is
layered thickly on the canvas, giving a sense that the objects are
being carved out by their shadows.”
