Bloom

Linda Wang, 16

Painting | Oil on Canvas | A x B

‘I painted a still life oil painting of a Malva flower that bloomed in the grass in front of my house. Despite its small size and inconspicuous appearance, I discovered its beauty as I closely observed it, particularly after a fresh rain when dew drops glistened on its petals. Through my work, I want to convey the idea that everything in nature is unique and worthy of admiration, but often overlooked by people in their fast-paced lives. One can discover nature's infinite charm by taking the time to appreciate nature's details.’
